Video search engine blinkx, and UK film distributors Dogwoof, have joined forces to create a film channel on blinkx BBTV. The idea is that everyday Joe’s like you and me will be able to watch top independent films over the Internet, and link them to the internet. So, whilst you’re watching you can instantly access other features, like transcripts of the audio track and background information on actors, characters, reviews and locations of the film. Or you can just watch the film.
The channel will be available on blinkx’s broadband television, blinkx BBTV, which is a small download (0.5 MB) available free of charge at www.blinkx.com and www.dogwoof.com
