Soda Pictures in conjunction with Four Docs, 3 Minute Wonder, The Branchage Film Festival & Destination Winnipeg have launched a competition for short filmmakers called ‘Your Winnipeg’.
They’re looking for filmmakers to create three minute documentaries about their hometowns, and are particularly looking for experimental and creative approaches. The winner will have their film screened on Channel 4, on the UK DVD release of My Winnipeg and at the Branchange Film Festival. Even better, the winner will also be whisked off on holiday to Winnipeg and receive £1500. Not bad for a quick three minutes.
