I Am Legend is out on Monday (21 April) on DVD (complete with the superior alternative ending).

I Am Legend was really, really appalling. I’d be fascinated to know what the alternate ending was, because I found the theatrical one utterly patronising and absurd.
It’s not often you see that kind of religious propaganda in the cinema, these days.

Well, the alternative ending was up on youtube for a bit before the powers that be had it taken down. A search on your favourite search engine might throw it up though in some dark corner of the internet.
I actually thought I am legend was 90% a pretty good film, but the fumbled and ham-fisted ending was disappointing to say the least.
