On Tuesday evening January 12, the Ritzy Picturehouse in Brixton will launch a very special monthly event called the Ritzy Jukebox. Giving audiences the chance to select the film they want to see at the cinema on the night, three independent features will be put forward for an audience vote, the casting of which only commences once all three films have been enticingly introduced by the filmmakers and a short clip will be shown from each film, before the audience makes their decision.

This month the shortlisted films, which are fresh from the festival circuit, are Huck Melnick’s romantic drama Hardly Bear to Look at You, Becky Preston’s Lovelorn and The Agent, from filmmaker Lesley Manning.

More information and tickets are available now from www.picturehouses.co.uk or alternatively, you can phone the Ritzy box office direct on 0871 704 2065. You can also follow the event by following it on Twitter.
