It’s 2018 – six years after a virus was released at the 2012 Olympics. Zombies dominate the earth and humankind has been mauled, torn and eaten to extinction. The problem is, there’s not a lot to do now that there are no humans left to rip apart… Cue the first post-apocalyptic music festival curated by the undead.

I Spit On Your Rave is a mockumentary by director Chris Boyle, and made by Film4 and Warp Films that will centre on a zombie music fest. But here’s the cool bit: they need willing and able corpses to take part.

The majority of filming will take place at this year’s Big Chill Festival, where all willing participants are invited to unleash their inner zombie by arriving in costume (although make up and outfits will be provided for those who don’t) when filming begins on Thursday August 6. As well as being part of the mockumentary should there be enough of the living undead on the site, there is also a chance to break the record and appear in the Guiness World Book of Records as part of the ‘Most Amount of Zombies Captured on Camera’.

A short promo of the film will be screened at the end of the festival before it’s released online for free.

  • I did a zombie walk around London once. Got make up doen, poured ketchup over my clothes, drank a bottle of wine, lurched around freaking out tourists with about 300 other people. Was ridiculously fun, I would throughly recommend getting involved.
